Current temperature is -28,4°C with windchill.
Please dress warmly.
Or don't; that's fine, too. :]

(📌) Endless songs of praise, but have they ever thought to make songs of comfort for thy grieving heart?
Some frown at the idea, but...
...too much sunlight leaves no room... for sweet dreams born from story books.
So off it drifts, far across the sea... and into the stars, to return another fateful day.
Good night, Concordia.
(1) i caught a star.
Last night was a clear one -- the stars were out. I was hoping that my camera would be jacked enough to capture their presence, but that didn't seem to be the case here.
After a few attempts, i did manage to get one star on screen. Hooray!
i caught many stars.
Finally got my hands on a nicer camera! Caught many stars this time, muehehe.
(2) futile purrrsuit.
Today a black cat -- not quite young, not quite old -- jumped onto my leg as it tried to reach a strap dangling from my bag. The bag was too high though, so the little guy couldn't reach it.
...I may or may not have held the bag up higher while it was clinging to my leg. hehehe. Sorry, little guy. I was a meanie head.
...futile dispute.
What i really want is...
I just want the cycles to stop, that's all. To let go of all the weight inherent to existing & having a consciousness that wants things.
But I suppose not everyone likes the idea of dying, so I keep my fringe pipe dream to myself most of the time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The setting sun's rays seem to shine more sentimentally after exams.
(3) subduction zone.
I attended a talk by a professor from overseas.
There was one question that was at the very tip of my tongue, but i waited until the end of the talk to ask it.
I ended up not asking that question. Oh well.
(4) scorching sun,
There was an issue with my bicycle's chain which i didn't know how to fix at the time.
I remember hyping it up in my head as i dragged it up an inclined path. We were left walking without the mercy of overhead shade for 5 minutes.
My skin got darker after that walk. Happy times.
pouring rain.
I remember stopping, drenched in rain, to readjust his chain, which had slipped after having him roll down a hill and splash through some puddles.
We smelled like petrichor and chain lube once we got home. Happy times.
(5) haibane.
This is a photo of a bird perched on a pole in a lake i used to go to.
I met lots of people around that lake. Lots of those connections have been cut off. Still, i treasure them & remember them fondly.
Lots of embarrassment, but also... what's the word? Forgiveness.
hermes.
The shimmering starlight shines, but where's the world looking at? What a busy existence~
It's the 3rd day. My chest yearns for distance.
