I am a pile of nothing with many thoughts. Here are some of them.
i caught a star.
Last night was a clear one -- the stars were out. I was hoping that my camera would be jacked enough to capture their presence, but that didn't seem to be the case here. After a few attempts, i did manage to get one star on screen.

Finally got my hands on a nicer camera! Caught many stars this time, muehehe.
Darkness seems like a foreign concept to the urbanized part of the world, with all its different lamps -- and i couldn't be more thankful for the quality of life it brings. But still, it's nice to revisit the fear darkness brings from a different perspective.

futile purrrsuit.
Today a black cat -- not quite young, not quite old -- jumped onto my leg as it tried to reach a strap dangling from my bag. The bag was too high though, so the little guy couldn't reach it.
...I may or may not have held the bag up higher while it was clinging to my leg. hehehe. Sorry, little guy. I was a meanie head.
everything is political... but...
...With enough thought put into it, everything is thermodynamic, too. Everything is mathematic, geological, artistic... etc. etc.
It's just many people don't talk about thermodynamics on a regular basis, whereas problems and decisions -- a.k.a. the building blocks of politics -- naturally occupy much more of their thought processes.
Thus, the connection between politics and... well... everything is made at a much faster rate, and at a larger volume too.
Consensus is therefore weighted towards stuff like economics and politics, and that's okay. I believe politics is a natural process that arises from a gazillion needs of a gazillion people sharing limited space.
But honestly, sometimes it's relieving to step back from this perspective and wonder at how entropy (and the change thereof) is able to show itself even in political discourse.

we walked home under the scorching sun.
There was an issue with my bicycle's chain which i didn't know how to fix at the time.
I remember hyping it up in my head as i dragged it up an inclined path. We were left walking there without the mercy of overhead shade for 5 minutes.
Got a slight tan from that walk. Happy times.
petrichor & chain lube.
It was noon, so virtually nobody was there to witness the impending sense of rain manifest into reality. 'Aight, time to head back.
I remember stopping, drenched in 7mm rainfall, to readjust his chain, which had slipped after having him roll down a hill and splash through some puddles.
We smelled like petrichor and chain lube once we got home. Happy times.
